So news just in from AJ and Karin.
It is pouring with rain, so the first real rainy day they have had. They have decided not to go on today but to rather have a rest day, since they are ahead of schedule a rest day will not hurt at all :)
Last night the folk at the Kalahari Rest Lodge put them up for the night. They have very kindly allowed them a second night on the house. Once again showing that Southern African hospitality (and here I include all our neighboring countries)
I know where I am stopping on our way through to Nam this holiday.

On the 20th of November 2011 my nephew and his girlfriend left Grahamstown on an epic bike ride to Windhoek. This ride covered more than 2000 km's, over three countries in 20 days. This is that story. Grahamstown, Bedford, Cradock, Middelburg, Hanover, Phillipstown, Orania, Hopetown, Kimberley, Warrenton, Vryburg, Ganyesa, Bray, Werda, Khakhea, Bulukubalo, Morwametsi, Kang, Thootsa, Buitepos, Gobabis, Witvlei, Seeis, Windhoek!
