News just in - arrived in Hanover at 11:30. This means that they have completed their 86k's for today but have decided to continue towards Phillipstown.
While enjoying some sustenance at a local garage they bumped into a mate driving "home".
If it was possible to run any level of interference one might have suggested REST then instead of pushing too hard. I suppose they know best how they feel and what they can cope with.
On the 20th of November 2011 my nephew and his girlfriend left Grahamstown on an epic bike ride to Windhoek. This ride covered more than 2000 km's, over three countries in 20 days. This is that story. Grahamstown, Bedford, Cradock, Middelburg, Hanover, Phillipstown, Orania, Hopetown, Kimberley, Warrenton, Vryburg, Ganyesa, Bray, Werda, Khakhea, Bulukubalo, Morwametsi, Kang, Thootsa, Buitepos, Gobabis, Witvlei, Seeis, Windhoek!
Maybe they are trying to make up a day or so and then relax over the weekend in Kimberley for an extra day- I know there is the new jewel in SAN parks crown which they could visit- AJ did mention the name but I have forgotten.
